ModEva™ is a modular and evolutionary design proposed by Cybelec® for its numerical control applications.
ModEva is a range of numerical controls fully adapted to market demand.
By using a proven 19" double European industrial card rack system, Cybelec has further increased the modularity of its systems. This modularity allows Cybelec to meet any personalized demands.
Indeed, in addition to being able to choose the number of axes, inputs and outputs, Cybelec has taken flexibility to the next level by modulating the POWER of the main processor.
As well as providing a calculating capability and performance adapted to simple machines with a 2D graphic display, ModEva can also be transformed into a real workstation with a very high-power CPU and maximum graphic capabilities. ModEva numerical controls are therefore adapted to the most sophisticated press brakes.
The ModEva NCs also provide bulk memory fully adapted to the user's needs:
Using the ETX board eliminates virtually all wire connections between our components. This means that all active components (boards, power supply, etc) can be plugged straight into the 19" professional rack.
This provides a much higher reliability than wired equipment and allows boards to be easily changed, even by the owner of the machine.
Of course, as part of the Infranor® group, Cybelec can offer the most complete and effective solutions best adapted to the demands of each of its customers.
For the ModEva range, Cybelec developed the remote numerical control console principle.
Making the consoles independent of the CNC itself allows for a greater freedom of choice in terms of user interface.

This remote console design is based on the Cybelec Panel Link (CPL) technology which connects the console to the electric cabinet by just two standard (RJ45) cables, allowing Cybelec ModEva consoles to be placed more than 10 meters from the numerical control.
All ModEva consoles are equipped with the Quick Cursor device.
Quick Cursor is a rotary button used to quickly and comfortably move the cursor on the screen in order to open and select options in a menu.
The Quick Cursor button can also be used for changing pages and moving axes in manual mode.

In terms of graphic interface, the ModEva range combines Cybelec's recognized efficiency with a great simplicity of use thanks to very intuitive programming.
One of its main features is the possibility of completely programming a part on a single page. As a result, the average time required to set up a triple-fold component, ready to be used, is reduced to about thirty seconds.
When producing more complex parts, the graphic sequences generated by a CAD/CAM system or MetaBEND can easily be viewed on the user console.
Thanks to a close co-operation with the main suppliers of CAD/CAM systems as well as Metamation (with MetaBEND), Cybelec offers access to the simplest and most powerful sheet metal modeling systems, as well as software for importing 2D or 3D files for providing complete simulations. These systems and applications can all transfer their results to the Cybelec numerical controls in a very simple and user-friendly manner with a maximum of automation.
An electronic angle protractor connected to the ModEva allows users to send the measured value directly to the numerical control which then immediately calculates the required correction.
Three measurement modes are available:
ModEva 10S and 12S come with PC 1200 offline bending software.
The PC 1200 software allows you to prepare your programs, calculate offers and check feasibility of the parts in your office on a PC. No time is wasted on the machine.
