About Cybelec

CYBELEC SA, founded in 1970, is the largest Swiss manufacturer of numerical controls. As the market leader in metal forming technology, Cybelec offers a complete range of high-performance numerical controls commonly used with press brakes and shears.
Recently, the Cybelec solutions have been completed on one hand with a wide range of motors and drives, and on the other hand with CAD/CAM offline software.

In 1990, Cybelec's integration into the Infranor Group and its various companies led to the development of more generic products like open axis controls. Since 2006, through the acquisition of FASTware technology, Cybelec is diversifying its activities in other fields, notably automation and high-precision machine tools.

The spirit of innovation which characterizes CYBELEC®, as well as substantial investments, allow us to anticipate market needs. One of our most significant examples of this is, in the early 1970s, the radical innovation of the first numerical control with microprocessor allowing full electronic synchronization of hydraulic press brakes. Other great Cybelec innovations are the development of the first numerical control integrating an IBM PC, showing a 3D color display or, more recently, the first numerical control with touchscreen interface and full 3D simulation.

Employing over 70 people, Cybelec places great importance in having highly qualified and experienced engineers. Through its network of subsidiaries, agents and service partners, Cybelec is present on the five continents and is therefore always close to its OEM's customers and end users.
